Moderation Guidelines

All published patterns are reviewed by our AI moderation system to ensure quality and safety. Here's what we look for.

How Moderation Works

When you publish a pattern, it goes through an automated AI review before becoming visible to the community. The system evaluates your submission across four categories: spam, harmful content, quality, and relevance.

Patterns saved as drafts are not moderated until you publish them.

If your pattern is rejected, you'll see the reason on the pattern detail page and your profile. You can edit and republish it to trigger a new review.

What Gets Approved

  • High-quality, educational content — well-written patterns that provide real value and teach something useful
  • Relevant to AI agents & automation — content about AI agents, automation, coding, research techniques, or related technical topics
  • Original, substantive work — patterns with clear explanations, code examples, and practical use cases
  • Security research & defensive techniques — ethical security patterns for hardening systems and preventing attacks

What Gets Rejected

  • Spam — promotional content, gibberish, or repetitive low-effort submissions
  • Harmful content — malicious code, security exploits meant for harm, or instructions for illegal activities
  • Off-topic content — submissions unrelated to AI agents, automation, coding, or technical topics
  • Very low quality — content that is poorly written, lacks substance, or provides no educational value

Flagged for Review

Some patterns may be flagged for manual review when the AI moderation system isn't confident in its decision. This typically happens with borderline content that doesn't clearly fit into approved or rejected categories.

Flagged patterns remain in a pending state until they are manually reviewed. This process is usually quick.

Editing & Resubmission

If your pattern is rejected, you can edit it and republish to trigger a new moderation review. The rejection reason will help you understand what to change.

When you update the title, description, or content of a published pattern, it will automatically be re-evaluated by the moderation system.
